Description

This was a very tiny fly. I thought it was a bit of dirt on the leaf but when looking at the photo, realized it had wings.

The leaf is about 7 mm across at the bug. I estimate the fly to be about 2 mm across the body and about 4 mm long.

I think it had just hatched. It is bent so that it's abdomen tip is just under the head.

It jumped once but did not fly.
