Blackfoot limpet, an endemic Hawaiian "opihi", which is our mini-version of abalaone. Prized as a delicacy by some, but not as much as the other limpet species here.
Limpet is a common name for numerous different kinds of saltwater and freshwater snails (aquatic gastropod mollusks) that have a simple shell which is basically conical in shape. The shells of limpets are either not coiled, or appear not to be coiled in the adult snails.
