First of many green toads found this night, this one found on same road minutes from finding the Great Plains toad and mojave rattler. Very productive first road and first go at monsoon road cruising.
On TX RR 505 @ 2100hrs. Female
These Green Toads were calling from a flooded roadside field in Dimmit County after a day of heavy rains (~5 inches).

Anaxyrus debilis, also classified as Bufo debilis, is a species of toad found in the Southwestern United States in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas and Texas, as well as in northern Mexico in the states of Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Durango and Zacatecas. Its common name is the green toad.
