品種 ： 原尾蜥 / 鹽蛇
學名 ： Hemidactylus bowringii
特徵 ： 香港最常見壁虎科蜥蜴，廣泛棲息於市區地帶。
Found on a tile wall on the sixth floor of an apartment complex.
Found two of these hiding on separate stone pillars of an apartment complex stair well. There is a fake waterfall on one side and a Bougainvillea plant on the opposite. There is a lot of foot traffic on these steps but they were well hidden in the shadows of the railing. Caught one out of the corner of my eye and found the other within minutes.
Each were about 3.5inches in length.
We see these less often than Hemidactylus garnotii and Gekko chinensis.
