Blood lily. Not 100% certain of which Scadoxus this is--these emerging flowers look a little different than other multiflorus I'm finding online. Beautiful plant.
Location approximate to Chobe-Kasane road, but not yet in Chobe NP.
Scadoxus is a genus of 9 species native to tropical Africa in the family Amaryllidaceae, subfamily Amaryllidoideae. The genus has close affinities with Haemanthus from which it has only recently been separated.
