Hi, Jasper the Friendly German here. I discovered iNaturalist through Nerds For Nature, a grassroots movement connecting technologists and environmentalist. These days I co-organize the Silicon Valley chapter of Nerds For Nature. I am very excited about the intersection of tech and nature. I got super stoked about identifying species on here until I realized I don't really have the knowledge to do that yet. I'll learn here and log observations in the meanwhile.
