Although this sparrow has a somewhat central spot on its chest (like a Song Sparrow), I believe it to be a Fox Sparrow as it has a gray head and back and a rusty rump and tail.

Description

I saw this lone feather on the road while walking through my neighborhood. It looked unique enough to me that I wanted to learn what it was. I have no idea what type of bird it could've originated from, but INaturalist suggested it was from a Nightjar or Nighthawk. Thanks for your help.
