Description

Our naturalist said this flowering tree was "Poró," in the bean family. It's very common in the countryside in this area, and very beautiful in full bloom. This one had many bromeliads growing on branches.

Description

All of these tiny bats would fit in the palm of your hand. They are huddled under a banana leaf. Our guide heard from a friend they were there, and we followed a path through several banana trees, and he miraculously found them.
