This poor Leptasterias hexactis (Colorful Six-armed Star) has only two arms, possibly due to Sea Star wasting? Frtunately the central disc is intact, so it may grow back the other arms. This is the first Leptasterias I've seen in this condition.

I was happy to find Erythrophyllum delesserioides (Red Sea Leaf) growing at Salt Creek, only the second time I've seen this beautiful seaweed, which looks more like chard than any other seaweed.
