26/11, eating lots; 27/11 morning, getting dark; 27:11 evening, weaving a nest up high (not on ground); 28/11 morning & evening, still weaving and seeming to look for a blanket-- I stuffed some leaves on top so they couldn't get knocked down (it had seemed to have rejected earlier presents, but it seemed that it wanted them after all); 29/11, finally still, bright yellow, a little brown on the bottom; 1/12, definitely fully pupated (twitchy when accidentally bumped!); 2/12, pupa cover starting to turn brown, photo of ejected head & mouth parts! = took ~2 days of weaving before stillness, 2-3 days of bright yellow pupa before starting to turn brown.

7-Jan-2024 Unfortunately due to “human error” discovered it has been in a bowl of water-soil since 2-Jan-2024. Not moving… suspected dead…. Waiting to see if it “wakes up”

Ischyja manlia 藍條裳蛾 or 藍條夜蛾 has a Perfect camouflage! It's a very sensitive moth. Quite difficult to get close and take photo.
