Crossed the street, stopped in some bushes for 30sec before running off
We made six positive observations at this site visit, at lest 1 m apart.
All observations were Long-toed salamander egg masses.
All egg masses were submerged in shallow, still water, and attached to vegetation (twigs or leaves).
Egg masses contained 3-20 eggs, and measured 2-5cm across.
Each egg inside mass was about 1 cm: a clear sphere with a darker center. Most egg centers black + white colored. Some egg centers black. Two egg masses had cream colored centers.
