Small chiton, about 1/2 inch long. It was on a rock with a Cyanoplax dentiens and Barnacle nudibranchs. Size and shape like C. dentiens but girdle and valve colors of this one are very different.

Six mm long, one of two specimens found by Ziggy Goddard under cobbles while snokeling in shallow water. The cephalic tentacles of this specimen looked a little worse for the wear; I'm not sure if they were damaged moving it for these photos or not.

Undescribed species, 22 mm long. I spotted this specimen on its flat, coiled egg mass (also see 2nd image) on a pebble grabbed with gray mud from 186 m depth off Cape Alava, WA while on a cruise of the NOAA Ship McArthur II in June 2004. The translucent dorsum was finely scabrous to the touch. The 4th image is an SEM, made by Sandra Millen, of some of its radular teeth. Sandra confirmed this as an undescribed species and last I heard had been well along in describing it. The first three images were scanned from prints from 35 mm film.

First found by @kayakmak on 12/14, refound (after I left) by @passiflora4 and @chilipossum on 12/16, and today, found in the same patch of bryozoans within inches of the first sighting. This little nudibranch sheltered-in-place despite 15-17' surf at Mavericks pounding the reef during king tides.
