Description

threecorner milkvetch, Astragalus geyeri var. triquetrus, North Muddy Mountains, Logan Wash, Moapa Valley - Colorado River drainage, elevation 525 m (1715 ft).

This rare species, distinguished by its 3-angled fruits, is limited to loose calcareous sands of southeastern Nevada and adjacent northwestern Arizona. It is on the State of Nevada list of fully protected species.
