I've been photographing this minute (1/2") Hexatomini for almost 20 years at Cedar Bog. Previous discussions have led to a possible ID as Hexatoma Albitarsis. Several sightings today.

This is an old image from 2004 that I'm posting because of interest in my recent shots of this Hexatomini. I've photographed several over the last 20 years, always in the same area at Cedar Bog. Quite small, as you can see from the size perspective of the mites.

Note: I have photographed this Hexatomini at Cedar Bog in Champaign County, Ohio for at least 17 years. Always in the same area.
