Description

Adult and juvenile hawks.

They were grasping each other's legs and were attempting to bite one another.

They may have been stuck but seemed to be intentionally holding on.

There were two other hawks nearby observing this.

Description

It looked like a large number of the flock smashed into the windows of a luxury building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Not sure if there’s a lot of variation or if this was a mixed flock of highly similar birds with warbler-like traits. I am a new birder 😬 I also didn’t adjust the date, this is from photos much earlier in the year—October

This stripe headed sparrow bird was found at the Rutgers university Newark campus. It was an injured bird that my friend and I found when we stepped out of one of the buildings. He picked it up for a closer view.
