It looks like the range map originates from birdlife.org
https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_ranges/27349/edit

Do you know a better source for the range of this species?
With a GIS file (KML/SHP file)?

It is difficult because it was only recently discovered that Quiscalus lugubris was distributed more towards the west in Colombia, where it was thought to be the habitat of Quiscalus mexicanus only.

HBW Alive and BirdLife/IUCN should have the same maps, but while the HBW map for this species was updated in October to include the western populations, the BirdLife and IUCN maps still haven't been updated - I assume they will be at some point in the near future, though (and once that happens, the new file can be requested here: http://datazone.birdlife.org/species/requestdis)
