sandboa Dwarf Salamander (Eurycea quadridigitata)

we need to add the two new species E. paludicola and E. sphagnicola to the this species group. They are both accepted by AMNH and SSAR.

yeah, ASW actually adds 3 species: Eurycea quadridigitata (sensu stricto), Eurycea hillisi, Eurycea paludicola, & Eurycea sphagnicola vs Eurycea quadridigitata (sensu lato)

OK - as bouteloua says, iNat is currently explicitly deviating from Amphibian Species of the World by treating Eurycea quadridigitata as a complex of 2 rather than 5 species. I've made a journal post here to propose that we / how we'd go about no longer making this deviation and instead getting back in sync with Amphibian Species of the World in this case:

any comments on this proposal?

My comments are on there. I say we accept it. Your map looks pretty good. We will have some records that are not identifiable by range but they can stay as they were originally identified until they are checked individually.
