Resolved.
Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera explains:
"Galleruca" bicolor Hope, 1831 is even the type species of Sphenoraia Clark, 1865.
bicolor now is listed in synonymy of Sphenoraia hopei Beenen, 2005 - no doubt a replacement name for preoccupied combination of bicolor with either "Galleruca"or Galeruca (pre 1800 including even the Flea beetles).
I can't find any reference to this particular species in online databases or publications. Please share if one is found, or otherwise by what basis this taxon was created. It may turn out to be valid, I just want to check.
