Triclista guttata (Donovan, 1805)
Triclista media (Walker, 1848)
Triclista singularis (Macquart, 1846)
The genus was previously considered a synonym of Scaptia Walker, 1850, however, it was later reinstated to genus level based on strong molecular and morphological data (Lessard et al. 2013; Lessard 2014). A key to all three known species was provided by Mackerras (1960: couplets 2-3 of the key to former subgenus Scaptia).
There are multiple specimens of singularis that cannot be identified here as the name is unavailable - note still under Scaptia
