• Shape: Vine
• Leaf/Branch Arrangement: Alternate
• Flower: White elongated cluster
• Leaves: palmately lobed, 3-8 inches long, heart-shaped base, 3-7 lobes
• Bark: green and hairy – red/purple and hairless
• Fruit/Seed: 1/3 diameter berry, blue/black, resembles a grape
• Height: 6-30 feet
• Flowering: May - July
• Habitat: moist woods, woodland edges, clearings, thickets
