Flower: Pink and white, paired, bell shaped, 5 petals
Leaves: evergreen, oval, 1/3 to 2/3 inch long, ¼ to nearly 2/3 inch wide, sparsely hairy on upper surface, nearly smooth underneath, tapering to short stalk
Height: 3-6 inches
Flowering: June - August
Habitat: cool northern forest
