Hyla arborea

Identification 3

Unmistakable look has the only treeclimbing frog. The body is full on green with Brown stripe on the sides coming from nose and stetching to pelvis with white belly. Basically you see full green frog without spots and bright stripes on its back that's this one. The sound is also unmistakable as it's loud. You can hear these little frogs for miles away.
Larvae are large with golden gliter like colouring.

Ecology & Behaviour 3

As I mentioned the arborea in latin name stands for tree-dwelling. As this frog is not living on trees it can be often found on branches of bushes. It breeds in shallow, nutritionaly rich, exposed pools.
