Description: The Varied Thrush is smaller in size than a Robin and very shy. They have a black and orange striped head, a slate gray back, and an orange chest with a black breast band. Varied Thrushes are found in flocks and feed on berries and small insects.

Fun Facts: The Varied Thrush song sounds like a tiny telephone ringing long and slow in different pitches.
