Plant descriptions ²

Plant 15-30 cm tall; leaf basal, oblong, 6-10 x 2-3.5 cm; spike subdensely many-flowered, subsecund, 8-15 cm long;flowers yellow; sepals oblong, 3mm long; lip entire, ovate-elliptic, 3.3 x 1.75 mm; spur narrowly connical, 2.5 mm long.

Similar species ²

Like Benthamia bathieana but B. bathieana is up to 70 cm tall and B. monophylla is 15-30 cm tall .
