Leaflets 3, elliptic to ovate, the terminal leaflet 15 - 46 x 10 - 40 mm, rounded at the base; Stipules acicular, 3 - 4 mm long; Calyx cylindrical, inflated above, c. 5 mm long, truncate and oblique with a slightly sinuous margin, with sparse short brownish hairs; Pods oblong, flattened between the seeds, 20 - 25 x 6 - 7 mm, constricted especially around aborted seeds, shortly beaked, densely convered in short yellowish appressed hairs, splitting into 2 valves.
