Leaves simple; Petiole 2 - 5 mm long, pubescent. Flowers c. 1.2 - 1.3 cm in diameter; Sepals becoming reflexed, subequal, narrowly ovate, 7 - 8 x 1.5 - 2.5 mm, long-acuminate apically, with scattered, appressed, minute hairs outside and within; Petals narrowly oblong-elliptic, c. 8 x 2 mm, shortly acuminate or acute apically, glabrous. Fruit drupaceous, with a short stipe c. 2 mm long, subspherical to ellipsoid, c. 13 x 8 - 10 mm, glabrescent, containing a single, very hard interior with 2 or 3 individual seed.
