Plant descriptions ²

Rhizome c. 1 mm. in diam., widely creeping, with spaced fronds and with brown concolorous ovate-oblong to narrowly ovate subentire rhizome-scales up to 2 x 0.8 mm. Frond erect, coriaceous. Stipe up to 1 cm. long, glabrous except for a few slightly fimbriate brown scales similar to those on the rhizome. Sterile lamina up to 2.5 x 7 cm., oblong-elliptic, obovate or spathulate, acute to obtuse, very longly decurrent, glabrous. Fertile lamina up to 1.4 x 0.6 cm., oblong-elliptic to broadly elliptic, long-decurrent, glabrous.
