The pygmy rabbit is the smallest rabbit in the world and is easily told apart from other members of its species by its size. It also has short ears, small hind legs and has no white fur on its tail. You can tell if it is pygmy rabbit scat also based on size because as you can see in the above picture its feces are much smaller than other types of rabbits. They cannot be found in Iron County.

The pygmy rabbit (Brachylagus idahoensis) is a North American rabbit, and is one of only two rabbit species in America to dig its own burrow.
