Cicindela repanda, commonly known as the Bronzed Tiger Beetle or Common Shore Tiger Beetle, is a tiger beetle that 10-13 millimeters long, lives in most of North America, and has three subspecies. General description 6

Adults of this subspecies resemble those of Cicindela duodecimguttata but are separated by the configuration of the marginal band. In C. repanda the marginal band is continuous or narrowly separated from the humeral lunule, whereas in C. duodecimguttata the band has a wide gap.

Habitat 7

Sand, gravel and clay soils with sparse vegetation adjacent to streams and rivers.
