Description 5

Slender, deciduous, small tree. Bark greyish-brown, rough and furrowed; young branchlets velvety. Leaves with 6-20 pairs of pinnae; rhachis ending in a small hook; leaflets in 12-24 pairs per pinna, slightly sickle-shaped, pointed at the apex, obovate to almost circular; petiole hairy with a gland above the middle. Flowers in fluffy, semi-spherical heads, creamy-white; stamens up to 2 cm. Pods flattened, narrow, up to 18 cm, brown.
