Pentagramma triangularis has a distribution from British Columbia south to Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada, Arizona and Baja California. Specific occurrences within the California Floristic Province and the Modoc Plateau (caves in Lava Beds National Monument), East of Sierra Nevada, as well as the Desert Mountains.
