The Dendryphantinae are a subfamily of jumping spiders that occur mainly in the New World. The subfamily was first defined by Petrunkevitch in 1928. Females of the subfamily generally show paired spots on the abdomen, and the males often have enlarged chelicerae. Females in this subfamily typically have S-shaped epigynal openings.
