Flowering time 5-9 Asia. Vigorous invader in the subtropics. Impenetrable thorny scambler that smothers any other vegetation. Light yellow upright inflorescences. Nectar is collected inside the flower, as well as outside from its base after it has wilted. Pellets orange-brown. (Johannsmeier, M. F. (2016).
