Celebrating the surprising biodiversity of a county sometimes relegated to being thought of as just cornfields! Will be adding to this incrementally with confirmed observations of all forms of life in Lee County, using sources such as INHS, several guides, natural area catalogs, and of course iNaturalist itself. Non-natives that have established themselves in the wild will be included, but ornamental species, garden plants, and pets/livestock will not. Some descriptions have been edited to include tidbits of a certain species's life history in Lee County.
