The ecdysozoans in this guide include the tardigrades (phylum Tardigrada), round worms (Phylum Nematoda), Spiders and relatives (Subphylum Chelicerata), Crustaceans (Subphylum Crustacea) and centipedes & millipedes (Subphylum Myriapoda).

Insects (Phylum Arthropoda, Subphylum Hexapoda) are not included in this guide simply because there are too many of them to fit in this guide.
