Carex chordorrhiza, commonly called creeping sedge or string sedge, is a species of perennial plant in the family Cyperaceae with Holarctic distribution growing in acidic bogs.

Candle-lantern sedge (Carex limosa)

Carex limosa is a species of sedge known by the common names bog-sedge, mud sedge and shore sedge.

Bog wiregrass sedge (Carex oligosperma)

Carex oligosperma, common name fewseed sedge, few-seeded sedge, and few-fruited sedge, is a perennial plant in the Carex genus. A distinct variety, Carex oligosperma var. oligosperma, exists.

Few-flowered sedge (Carex pauciflora)

Carex pauciflora, known as few-flowered sedge, is a perennial species of sedge in the family Cyperaceae native to Holarctic wetlands. The specific epithet pauciflora, refers to the Latin term for 'few flowered'.

Tussock cottongrass (Eriophorum vaginatum)

Eriophorum vaginatum L. (hare's-tail cottongrass, tussock cottongrass, sheathed cottonsedge) is a species of perennial herbaceous flowering plant in the sedge family Cyperaceae. It is native to bogs and other acidic wetlands throughout the Holarctic Kingdom. It is a 30–60 cm high tussock-forming plant with erect solitary spikelets.
