This is a guide of the top 25 mammal species in Southeast Michigan in order of most to least common. The Southeast Michigan region is composed of 7 counties including Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Livingston, Washtenaw, Monroe, and Saint Clair counties. This guide is also part of a Community Biology project with Oakland University by Casey Snow, Jazlyn Sweet, and Alyssa Polizzi.
