13922 thumb Jumping Spiders of the Anacostia River Watershed

If you could call a spider cute, it would be a salticid spider aka jumping spider (Salticidae Family). They are, without a doubt, one of the most fascinating invertebrates in our region and the world. And they live pretty close to us!
