Southeastern Pocket Gopher

The southeastern pocket gopher, Geomys pinetis, is a species of pocket gopher that is native to the southeastern United States. It occurs in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, where it is the only pocket gopher.

House Mouse

The house mouse (Mus musculus) is a small mammal of the order Rodentia, characteristically having a pointed snout, small rounded ears, and a long naked or almost hairless tail. It is one of the most numerous species of the genus Mus. Although a wild animal, the house mouse mainly lives in association with humans.

Round-tailed Muskrat

The round-tailed muskrat (Neofiber alleni) is a species of rodent in the family Cricetidae, sometimes called the Florida water rat. It is the only species in the genus Neofiber. It is found only in the southeastern United States. Its natural habitat is swamps.

Golden Mouse

The Golden Mouse, Ochrotomys nuttalli, is a species of New World mouse. It is usually 5–8 inches (12–25 cm) in body length, and has a golden-brownish color.

The brown rat, common rat, street rat, sewer rat, Hanover rat, Norway rat, brown Norway rat, Norwegian rat, wharf rat (Rattus norvegicus), or hood rat is one of the best known and most common rats.

Black Rat

The black rat (Rattus rattus) is a common long-tailed rodent of the genus Rattus (rats) in the subfamily Murinae (murine rodents). The species originated in tropical Asia and spread through the Near East in Roman times before reaching Europe by the 1st century and spreading with Europeans across the world.

Eastern Harvest Mouse

The Eastern Harvest Mouse (Reithrodontomys humulis) is a species of rodent in the family Cricetidae. It is found only in the United States. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, swamps, and pastureland.
