Durand Open Space Plant and Animal Guide

Bernalillo County manages 13 Open Space properties (1000 acres) from the mountains to the valley that surround the Albuquerque metropolitan area. This dynamic network of properties encompass important natural and cultural resources managed to benefit people, plants and wildlife. Bernalillo County engages local citizen scientists through the Master Naturalist program to observe and document phenological and other natural occurrences to the plant and animal communities through iNaturalist and related projects.
