Alfred Cove Nature Reserve - Perth

A great spot to see wading birds in Perth - many of them are migratory and there is even a resident Osprey!

I am still working on this..

Little Egret

The Little Egret (Egretta garzetta) is a small white heron. It is the Old World counterpart to the very similar New World Snowy Egret.

White-faced Heron

The White-faced Heron, Egretta novaehollandiae, also known as the Blue Crane, White-fronted Heron, and incorrectly as the Grey Heron, is a common bird throughout most of Australasia, including New Guinea, the islands of Torres Strait, Indonesia, New Zealand, the islands of the Subantarctic, and all but the driest areas of Australia.
