A list of common plants you can see on the island,, from wildflowers to trees. This new guide will be added to so check back! We welcome your submissions of plant observations. Please visit our website at http://friendsofsearsisland.org/explore-the-island/ to log observations. You may also add your plants to our Inaturalist Project "Plants and Animals of Sears Island." This list does not include some non-vascular plants such as mosses, lichens, aquatic plants or some grasses and sedges that have been found. For a more complete list, please see the Natural Resource Inventory on our website.
