Orange Peel Fungus

The Orange Peel Fungus (Aleuria aurantia) is a widespread ascomycete fungus in the order Pezizales. The brilliant orange, cup-shaped ascocarps often resemble orange peels strewn on the ground, giving this species its common name.

Scarlet cup

Sarcoscypha coccinea, commonly known as the scarlet elf cup, or the scarlet cup fungus, is a species of fungus in the family Sarcoscyphaceae. Common over much of the northern hemisphere, it grows on decaying branches in damp spots on forests floor and is usually found during cooler months, like winter and early spring.

Beard Lichens

Usnea is the generic and scientific name for several species of lichen in the family Parmeliaceae, that generally grow hanging from tree branches, resembling grey or greenish hair.
