This plant list was compiled by the work of students and professors at the University of New Brunswick's Saint John campus, for an introductory ecology class. The Musquash Salt Marsh is an important estuary for biodiversity, and has been visited regularly by our ecology students for over a decade as part of their training. The purpose of this list is to assist these students with their assignments, as well as to educate and inform local amateur naturalists that are interested in salt-marsh flora.
