A guide to marine phytoplankton as well as some zooplankton and miscellaneous plankton representatives found in the coastal waters of the Grand Strand Region of South Carolina. The sampled region includes three fishing pier locations within a 20 mile stretch of coast covering Myrtle Beach, SC as well as an estuary location in Cherry Grove North Myrtle Beach. This guide is a part of the ongoing phytoplankton monitoring project taking place at Coastal Carolina University.
