Several parcels of land; Corn Lake, Connected Lakes, and other sites along the Colorado River make up James M. Robb State Park. The park is situated in between Fruita and Debeque, with the Grand Mesa to the east, Colorado National Monument to the west, and the San Juan Mountains to the south. A mix of desert shrubland and riparian areas constitute the communities found throughout the park. As the park is found on the eastern extent of the Great Basin desert, it supports a unique community for Colorado.
