Beetles that appear in South Central Pennsylvania across a variety of habitats. Not professional, just for the fondness of beetles. All taxa I have found personally. Guide is a work in progress.

Six-spotted Tiger Beetle

The six-spotted tiger beetle, also known as the six-spotted green tiger beetle (Cicindela sexguttata), is a common North American species of ground beetle in the Cicindelinae subfamily.

Lebia analis

Lebia analis is a species of beetle in the family of Carabidae, Harpalinae subfamily.

Chlaenius aestivus

Chlaenius is a large and diverse genus of ground beetle. It is native to the Palearctic (including Europe), the Near East, North Africa, Afrotropical region, and the Nearctic.

Euryderus grossus

Euryderus grossus is a species of beetle in the family Carabidae, the only species in the genus Euryderus.

Copelatus glyphicus

Copelatus glyphicus is a species of diving beetle. It is part of the Copelatus genus, which is of the Copelatinae subfamily and the Dytiscidae family. It was described by Say in 1823.
