Lyon Park

Inspired by Virginia's natural diversity, a native plant garden surrounds the Lyon Park Community Center in Arlington, Virginia's community-owned Lyon Park. Help us observe and document the birds, bugs and other wildlife that come here in search of food and shelter!
Note: When we established the garden beds in 2016 after a building renovation, we kept the non-native mature evergreen shrubs that had been there for many years. less ↑
