Black Spruce
Picea mariana (Black Spruce) is a species of spruce native to northern North America, from Newfoundland west to Alaska, and south to northern New York, Minnesota and central British Columbia. This area is also known as the taiga forest, in the Taiga and Boreal forests biome.
Norway Spruce
Norway Spruce (Picea abies) is a species of spruce native to Europe. It is also commonly referred to as the European Spruce.

Pitch Pine
The Pitch Pine (Pinus rigida) is a small-to-medium sized (6-30 m) pine, native to eastern North America. This species occasionally hybridizes with other pine species such as Loblolly Pine (P. taeda), Shortleaf Pine (P. echinata), and Pond Pine (P. serotina); the last is treated as a subspecies of Pitch Pine by some botanists.
