Common ornamental plants of UCLA campus

This guide is intended to help people identify some of the common ornamental species on the UCLA campus. It does not include weeds or remnant native species that occur here naturally.

In most cases, observers should check the "captive/cultivated" button when submitting observations of these species on the UCLA campus. This is not an exhaustive list, if you feel that there are species that should be added, feel free to send me a message through the iNaturalist system.
